Steven,

Thank you for your concern; I feel a great deal more
secure now, for many reasons. Your pledge heartens
me, as have the others I have received.

I am sorry to have had to disappoint you, but as I
said before, my path does not lie in that direction; I
am glad that you accept and understand. I would like
to continue working with you on court business, and I
feel that it is vital that we do so.

I know it was not your intention to frighten, but one
hears stories about vampires and Tremere in specific,
and such stories can be very alarming to one who feels
that she has no recourse either in strength or in
allies. I have always been uncertain about my safety
in this court -- it has simply come to light with the
latest events.

I now know that I do have recourse in allies, at
least, and that my life is not in danger at the moment
(at least from within). I would like to count you
among those allies I have collected, and continue our
acquaintance.

I will see you in court, if no sooner.
